Whitepaper v2.0
The full technical and strategic overview of DAPA. Covers the blockDAG architecture, Twisted ElGamal homomorphic encryption, how balance privacy works, the wallet ecosystem, economic model with full transparency on supply and premine, and the development roadmap. If you want to understand how DAPA works from the ground up, start here.
Best for: developers, miners, technical investors, exchanges reviewing the protocol
Privacy & Compliance Position Paper
DAPA's formal position on financial privacy and regulatory compliance. Explains the critical difference between privacy and anonymity, how view keys enable full audit capability for tax and legal purposes, and how DAPA users meet their obligations. Covers FATF, AML, and the significance of the PayPal and Stripe regulated payment processing used in the genesis sale.
Best for: exchanges, regulators, legal teams, accountants, compliance officers, journalists
Brand Manifesto
Who DAPA is, who it is for, and what it stands for — in plain language. Not a technical document. This is the thinking behind the project: why financial privacy matters for ordinary people and businesses, why DAPA takes the approach it does, and the promise we make to our users. One page. Worth five minutes of your time.
Best for: new users, community members, press, anyone who wants the plain-English version
Where should I start?
Common questions
No. DAPA provides financial privacy — the same expectation people have with a bank account. Your bank balance is not publicly visible, but you can still prove it to a tax authority or court. DAPA works the same way. Privacy is not the same as anonymity. Every DAPA user can share their complete transaction history with any authorised party using a view key. The Compliance Position Paper addresses this in full detail.
DAPA combines the strengths of both: privacy by default like Monero, plus native audit capability like Zcash — built on more modern cryptography (Twisted ElGamal homomorphic encryption) than either. It also runs on a blockDAG architecture for higher throughput, is written in Rust for safety and performance, and was distributed through regulated payment processors. The Whitepaper covers this comparison in detail.
Using a view key — a read-only cryptographic key derived from your account. You give your accountant or tax authority the view key, and they can verify your complete transaction history without being able to move any of your funds. Your privacy from the general public is maintained; your compliance with authorised parties is fully possible. This is explained in detail in the Compliance Paper.
DAPA has a maximum supply of 800,000,000 coins with a decreasing emission curve. A genesis premine of 52,000,000 DAPA funds development, exchange listings, ecosystem grants, and operations. Early miners who supported the network at launch received 19 DAPA per block — a higher reward to incentivise those who took the earliest risk on the project. The current block reward is approximately 9.49 DAPA. The Whitepaper covers the full economic model transparently, including the premine rationale.
DAPA uses XelisHash v3 — an ASIC-resistant Proof of Work algorithm designed to be highly egalitarian, meaning ordinary CPU and GPU miners can participate competitively without specialised hardware dominating the network. This supports decentralisation of mining and keeps the network accessible to a broad community of participants.
Read the Compliance Position Paper first — it covers everything a compliance team needs, including the privacy vs anonymity distinction, view key audit capability, FATF Travel Rule compatibility, and AML position. Then contact us at [email protected]. We will provide technical documentation, node API details, and full support throughout the integration process.
DAPA has three wallets available now. The web wallet works in any browser with no installation. The Zodiac Android wallet APK is available for download at dapahe.com/downloads. A CLI wallet is included with the node distribution for advanced users and miners. iOS and desktop wallets are on the roadmap.
